- Promote occupational health & safety within an organisation and develop safer and healthier ways of working
- Ensure Company’s Health and Safety Policy is implemented consistently across the organisation.
- To monitor, evaluate and review Health and Safety policy and practice, make recommendations and implement new policies and procedures as required.
- To advise senior management on the implications of current em
erging health, safety and welfare legislation, including evaluating options, making recommendations and generating action plans to ensure compliance across the organisation. - Compiling of Health and Safety System and files.
- To carry out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
- To carry out regular workplace inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being implemented and maintained.
- Making changes to work practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
- Keeping records of inspection finding and producing reports that suggest improvement.
- Being up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation and any developments that affect the client’s industry.
- Assisting with all audits and ensuring everything is in place by double checking against Safety requirements
- Identify and review various health and safety concerns specific to the work site, Issuing Inspection reports & ensure all level 5’s are corrected within 24 hours
- Assets with all investigation of injuries, accidents and near misses. Identify the causes and advise on any improvement in safety standards
- Running weekly Emergency drills & ensuring our emergency preparedness plan is fail proof
- Ensuring all risk assessment is being conducted as per company policy and all relative SOP.
- Ensuring all risks are accounted for and the correct action to avoid injuries are been noted and discussed between teams in the relents areas
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of and enforcing OH&S legislation and codes of practice
- Discovering any unsafe conditions and taking steps to correct those conditions
- Ensuring all Fire extinguishers are still valid and signed off for use
- Compiling of Health and Safety System and files.
- To carry out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.

- To carry out audits to evaluate the effectiveness of Health and Safety systems and procedures, and identify and implement improvements.
- Daily Inspections compiled & added to monthly & weekly reports for
Management - Lead all SHE audits and ensuring everything is in place & up to date
- To investigate, or where appropriate, to assist others to investigate the circumstances and causes of accident/incidents and take necessary steps to prevent a recurrence

- Attend client Health and Safety Committee meetings if required
- Making presentations to group of client company directors
- Advice on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise and safeguarding machinery
- Compiling Internal SHE audits ensuring everything is in place and maintained
- Compiling Employee files and client
